Her colleague, Esther Igbekele shared the heartbreaking news of Egbin Orun’s passing on Instagram. Igbekele expressed her shock and sorrow, mentioning Egbin Orun’s sudden departure without a chance to bid farewell. She recounted their recent conversation, unaware of the impending tragedy.
Igbekele praised Egbin Orun’s beauty, kindness, and unwavering support for her ministry.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, “I received the news of this great loss upon returning home from my program… Prophetess Morenikeji Egbin Orun, you left without a chance to bid farewell… We spoke together last week, oblivious to your impending journey to the great beyond… You were a beautiful and kind-hearted woman, a staunch supporter of my ministry. Your passing has deeply saddened me, but we trust in God’s plan. Your presence will be sorely missed, and your acts of kindness will be remembered fondly. Farewell, Egbin Orun. Rest peacefully in the arms of Christ… Ah, taken from us too soon… Goodnight! Rest in peace.”
The cause of her death has not been disclosed, and there has been no official statement issued regarding the matter
