Law Lee, an affiliate of the controversial musician Naira Marley, has made a derogatory comment about the deceased singer known as Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Aloba.
Mohbad passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, and the circumstances surrounding his death have stirred controversies on social media.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Law Lee revealed his intense animosity towards Mohbad.
This statement followed Portable’s criticism of Zinoleesky on social media for purchasing a Ferrari despite not having a hit song.
He stated that his disdain for the deceased continues to grow, even in the aftermath of his passing.
He elaborated that Mohbad’s purported derogatory comments about fellow artist Oniyide Azeez, also known as Zinoleesky, sparked a public altercation against him on social media by the controversial artist Habeeb Okikiola, alias Portable.
He further asserted that had Mohbad refrained from making negative comments about Zinoleesky, Portable wouldn’t have taken such action.
He wrote, “My animosity towards Mohbad only seems to grow with each passing day, even after his demise… If not for all those misconceptions about Zino, why would @portablebaeby dare to sub him… Fool.”
Formerly signed to Marlian Music, owned by Naira Marley, Mohbad parted ways with the label in February 2022.
On September 18, 2023, the Lagos State Police Command established a 13-man special investigation team to look into the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.
The investigation into his demise also resulted in the apprehension of Naira Marley and controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, among others.
Prior to their arrest, the duo faced criticism for allegedly mistreating Mohbad before his demise in September 2023.
