Portable, the controversial singer, has spoken out following his arrest for failing to settle the remaining ₦14 million debt he accrued from purchasing a ₦27 million G-Wagon from a car dealer.On May 15, 2024, Portable took to his Instagram account and shared an image bearing the words, “God is bigger than everything. Portable’s fans expressed their support for him in the comment section, encouraging him to record a new song, and praying for him.

Portable was arrested by the police on May 14 following a report from the car dealer from whom he purchased the G-Wagon. Reports indicate that previous attempts by the dealer to reach the singer were unsuccessful.
Videos circulating on social media captured the moment Portable was apprehended by the police and the warrant for his arrest was read aloud. However, in a flash, Portable took off running and swiftly leaped over a large gate.
His escape was short-lived as another viral video depicted his capture. Portable was subsequently subdued, being dragged and carried by multiple police officers into their patrol van.
