Once again, the Nigerian movie industry is in mourning following the news of the passing of veteran Yoruba Actor Ganiyu Oyeyemi, affectionately known as Ogunjimi, which surfaced on social media on Friday.
The announcement of Ogunjimi’s demise was made by Yoruba actor Kunle Afod in a post on his Instagram page.
In mourning the actor, Afod expressed, “We did all we could, but God’s love for you surpasses all.”
“May his soul rest in peace. Baba Ogunjimi, RIP, Sun re oooo.”
As of writing this report, the cause of death remains unknown.
