In the aftermath of his passing, certain online commentators had insinuated a connection between Junior Pope’s demise and E-Money, alleging an affair between E-Money and the late actor’s wife.
Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, a well-known entrepreneur and socialite, has responded to accusations linking him to an alleged affair with the late Nollywood actor, JohnPaul Odonwodo, famously known as Junior Pope’s wife.
DAILY POST recalls the tragic incident where Junior Pope and three others lost their lives after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a filming location last month.
Following Junior Pope’s demise, some online commentators speculated about a connection between E-Money and the late actor’s wife, alleging an extramarital relationship.
In response, E-Money vehemently denied the allegations and vowed to ensure that those responsible for spreading false information face legal consequences.
Taking to his Instagram page, the businessman urged Nigerians to assist him in identifying the individuals behind the malicious rumors.
He wrote: “It has been brought to my attention that certain individuals are spreading damaging and false information about my relationship with my late brother, Junior Pope, and his family during this difficult time of mourning. These actions demonstrate a complete lack of respect for the memory of the deceased and are deeply hurtful to our grieving family.
“I refuse to sit idly by and allow this egregious act to go unpunished. I am dedicated to identifying these unscrupulous individuals and ensuring they are held accountable. It is crucial that we cleanse our social media environment and allow the law to take its course. Furthermore, bloggers who propagate this misinformation without proper verification and confirmation will also be held accountable in the pursuit of justice.
“Anyone with credible information that can assist the authorities in apprehending these individuals responsible for this malicious character assassination should come forward.
