Peruzzi revealed this during an interview on the show “Curiosity Made Me Ask” hosted by social media content creator Bae U Barbie.
The host inquired, “Is it accurate that Davido used to compensate you with his used clothes for composing his songs?”
Peruzzi confirmed, stating that the practice ceased after Davido paid him money for one of the songs he penned for him.
He remarked, “I’ll be frank with you, I used to receive Davido’s secondhand clothing as compensation for writing songs for him. However, there was one particular instance where he gave me some money, so I stopped that. I actually engaged in that before.”
Peruzzi has previously acknowledged writing several of Davido’s songs, including “Assurance,” “Unavailable,” “Flora My Flower,” and many others.
